By downloading, installing, or using BlurQ (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and 7afidi ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

BlurQ is a mobile application for iOS that provides photo editing capabilities, specifically:

  • Face detection and blurring
  • Background blurring with person detection
  • Manual blur tools with customizable brush
  • Image quality enhancement
  • Photo export and sharing

The App uses on-device processing to ensure your privacy and security.

3. License Grant

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BlurQ for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Restrictions

You may NOT:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
Remove or alter any copyright notices
Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access
Use the App to process images you don't have rights to
Resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
Use the App for commercial purposes without permission

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Subscription Plans

BlurQ offers the following Pro subscription options:

  • • Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly, auto-renews
  • • Yearly Subscription: Billed annually, auto-renews
  • • Lifetime Purchase: One-time payment, permanent access

Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a free trial period (typically 7 days) for subscription plans.

Trial Terms:

  • • Free trial begins immediately upon subscription
  • • You will not be charged during the trial period
  • • Trial automatically converts to paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before trial ends
  • • Cancel anytime through the App Store

5. Free vs. Pro Features

Free Features

Without a subscription, you can:

  • • Use face blur detection and blurring
  • • Adjust blur intensity
  • • Save photos (with watermark)
  • • Change appearance settings

Pro Features

With an active Pro subscription, you unlock:

  • No watermarks on exported photos
  • Background blur with person detection
  • Manual blur tool with custom brush
  • Higher quality exports (up to 4K)
  • All future Pro features and updates

6. User Responsibilities

Lawful Use

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Comply with all local, state, national, and international laws
  • Respect others' privacy when processing photos containing people
  • Only process images you have the right to use

Content Rights

You represent and warrant that:

  • • You own or have permission to edit all photos you process
  • • Your use of the App does not infringe on anyone's rights
  • • You will not use the App to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content

7. Intellectual Property

BlurQ, including all code, design, graphics, and content, is owned by 7afidi and protected by copyright laws, trademark laws, and other intellectual property rights.

Your Content: You retain all rights to photos you process with BlurQ. We do not claim any ownership of your photos.

8. Privacy

Your use of BlurQ is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Key Privacy Points:

  • All photo processing happens on your device
  • We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos
  • We do not collect personal data
  • Your photos never leave your device

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

"AS IS" Basis

BlurQ is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

No Guarantee

We do NOT guarantee:

  • • The App will meet your requirements
  • • Results will be perfect or meet your expectations
  • • The App will be available at all times
  • • Errors or bugs will be corrected
  • • The App is compatible with all devices or iOS versions

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 7afidi shall not be liable for:

  • • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • • Business interruption
  • • Personal injury or property damage
  • • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is less.

11. Termination

By You

You may stop using the App at any time by:

  • • Deleting the App from your device
  • • Cancelling your subscription through the App Store

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • • You violate these Terms
  • • You engage in illegal activities
  • • Your use harms other users or our services
  • • Required by law
